Our Founders

Daniel and Arlene Valdivia are licensed ministers dedicated to their service under Bishop Tony Dunn at New Day Christian Fellowship Church in Corona, California. Currently, they are both pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership in Ministry at Life Pacific University in San Dimas, CA. They are proud alumni of Cottonwood Leadership College in Los Alamitos, CA, and are certified Prepare and Enrich facilitators, deeply committed to helping families thrive.

The Valdivias are blessed with three wonderful sons and two beautiful daughters. Their ministry focuses on orphaned children and youth. In 2021, they established Abounding Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to further their mission of support and empowerment for vulnerable children and families.

Nico Johnson

Founding Board Member

Nico is our founding board member and has been with us since the early days of Abounding Ministries.

 Nico Johnson and his wonderful wife Ebony have been married for over 10 years. Nico is our founding board member and has been with us since the early days of Abounding Ministries. He has been a men’s ministry leader, facilities leader, and faithful servant in several capacities at his home church, New Day Christian Fellowship in Corona, California. Nico is a catalyst, a forward-thinker with a growth mindset, a relationship-builder, an effective fundraiser, and a marketing & brand executive in the private sector.

Lastly, Nico and his wife Ebony are both certified Prepare and Enrich facilitators and he is currently enrolled in ministry school. Nico has several certifications in leadership, coaching, and mentoring alike in addition to an undergraduate degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania of the Ivy League.

Chanda Delifus

Activities Coordinator

Chanda is the Program Director for a Transitional Housing Program under the juvenile court’s jurisdiction for extended foster youth and youth.

Previously, she was the Counselor/Case Manager for a licensed private Foster Family Agency for the placement of children.
Chanda is passionate about serving, advocating, and bringing Jesus to all children worldwide (Mark 10:13-16). She has traveled and served in orphanages in Mexico and Central America.
Chanda obtained her master’s and an undergraduate degree from Azusa Pacific University. She is involved in the community through volunteering, supporting, mentoring, and advocating for children and pregnant women.

Dymonde Cleveland

Board Member

Dymonde Cleveland is in the New Day Christian Fellowship minister-in-training program in Corona, California.

She serves in the leadership group in the Young Adult Ministry.
As she continues to grow in her faith and follow her purpose in the kingdom of God, she has realized that one of the most important things she can do is love others as Jesus loves her – with boundless grace, unwavering compassion, and genuine authenticity. Through this kind of love, we can truly reflect the goodness of God and positively impact the world around us.
