Abounding Ministries is a non-profit organization committed to helping the most vulnerable, children in need and without family. There are children in countries around the world who live in a generational cycle of poverty, oppression, and exploitation.
These children are not a problem to be solved but a solution waiting to be unleashed. If you ask any of these children, they have dreams and ambitions with an uncontrollable desire to see change, not only in themselves but also in their communities and country.

Our Mission
To offer immediate and sustainable solutions to vulnerable and orphaned children and youth by providing mental, health, and educational services (trauma-focused therapy, primary healthcare and nutrition, and educational services). Through education and the collaboration of other organizations, we help identify and develop life skills, providing them with the tools and opportunities needed to thrive and succeed in life.

Daniel Valdivia
Arlene Valdivia
Daniel and his wife Arlene Valdivia have been married for 8 years and are blessed to be proud parents of three incredible sons and two beautiful daughters.
Their ministry is dedicated to orphaned children and youth. They officially launched and established Abounding Ministries as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2021.
Daniel and Arlene are both licensed ministers, and faithfully attend and serve under Bishop Tony Dunn at New Day Christian Fellowship Church in Corona, California.
Both Daniel and Arlene are current students at Life Pacific University in San Dimas, CA. pursuing their B.A. in Organizational Management. They are both alumni of Cottonwood Leadership College in Los Alamitos, CA, and are certified Prepare and Enrich facilitators, it is in their hearts to help families thrive.

Board Member
Nico Johnson
Nico is our founding board member and has been with us since the early days of Abounding Ministries.
Nico Johnson and his wonderful wife Ebony have been married for over 10 years. Nico is our founding board member and has been with us since the early days of Abounding Ministries. He has been a men’s ministry leader, facilities leader, and faithful servant in several capacities at his home church, New Day Christian Fellowship in Corona, California. Nico is a catalyst, a forward-thinker with a growth mindset, a relationship-builder, an effective fundraiser, and a marketing & brand executive in the private sector.
Lastly, Nico and his wife Ebony are both certified Prepare and Enrich facilitators and he is currently enrolled in ministry school. Nico has several certifications in leadership, coaching, and mentoring alike in addition to an undergraduate degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania of the Ivy League.

Chanda Delifus
Chanda is the Program Director for a Transitional Housing Program under the juvenile court’s jurisdiction for extended foster youth and youth. Previously, she was the Counselor/Case Manager for a licensed private Foster Family Agency for the placement of children.
Chanda is passionate about serving, advocating, and bringing Jesus to all children worldwide (Mark 10:13-16). She has traveled and served in orphanages in Mexico and Central America.Chanda obtained her master’s and an undergraduate degree from Azusa Pacific University. She is involved in the community through volunteering, supporting, mentoring, and advocating for children and pregnant women.

Dymonde Cleveland
Dymonde Cleveland is in the New Day Christian Fellowship minister-in-training program in Corona, California. She serves in the leadership group in the Young Adult Ministry.
As she continues to grow in her faith and follow her purpose in the kingdom of God, she has realized that one of the most important things she can do is love others as Jesus loves her – with boundless grace, unwavering compassion, and genuine authenticity. Through this kind of love, we can truly reflect the goodness of God and positively impact the world around us.
“My goal as I serve in Abounding Ministries is to embody the hope and reality I found in Jesus. I want to help the world and the kingdom continuously experience who Jesus is to them genuinely and tangibly.”
The Why Behind Our Mission
Without the protection of an orphanage, and without family. These children and youth are thrown into an unimaginable world of homelessness with the daunting task of surviving alone. They are immediately faced with the many evil predators that are waiting to exploit them. Along with the very high demand for illicit industries such as the sex and drug industries, these children and youth are faced with other illegal industries such as organ trafficking, illegal adoption, and dangerous child labor industries.

Our Story
It all started when Arlene went on a medical mission trip in 2014
“I saw a great need that many of us take for granted – shoes! Plantation workers working barefoot in toxic soil which was causing damage to their health, kidney health.” – Arlene Valdivia
On a second mission trip to Guatemala two years later, Arlene visited an orphanage, “and that’s when my eyes were opened.” – Daniel Valdivia
